3. CONTENT DESCRIPTION

Transportation and deposition of sediment. Sedimentary rock: textures. Types of sedimentary rocks: terrigenous sedimentary rocks, chemical/biochemical, organic sedimentary rocks, others. Sedimentary depositional structures. Sedimentary facies. Environment analysis: Terrestrial environments, marine environments, transitional environment. Stratigraphic unit. Unconformities. Basin analysis.
