- Elements of a computer vision system.
- Image acquisition.
Chapter 4. Image Processing 2D
- Preprocessing.
- Edge detection.
- Segmentation.
- Extraction of characteristics.
- Object Recognition.
Chapter 5. Image Processing 3D
- Geometrical image formation
- Camera calibration
- Techniques for extracting 3D information. Stereo vision, triangulation and time-of-flight sensors.
PRACTICAL LESSONS
Laboratory practice 1: Inertial sensors
Laboratory practice 2: Olfactory sensors
Laboratory practice 3: Image Processing 2D
Laboratory practice 4: Image Processing 3D
Lecture and 4 programming practices are part of the activities included in the course.
Students with special educational needs should contact the Student Attention Service (Servicio de Atención y Ayudas al Estudiante) in order to receive the appropriate academic support
In order to pass the course the following issues have to be fulfilled:
- Work lab attendant is mandatory (only one session could be made up for at the end of the course)
- Pass the final written exam (theory and problems).
- Pass the programming work.
The written exam assesses the competences: CB9
The programming work assesses the competences: CG3MMKTR, CG4MMKTR
A possitive assessment implies that the student has reached the learning results: RB9, RE17MM, RG3mMKTR, RG4mMKTR
