3. CONTENT DESCRIPTION

The TFM may belong to one of the following three types:

a) Engineering projects

b) Technical studies

c) Theoretical/experimental work

The student must submit the TFM to the EPSJ Auxiliary Register according to the procedure, formats and supports established by the Academic Coordination Commission of the Master's Degree (in charge of approving the TFM proposals) and in the style rules published by the Centre. In any case, at least one digital copy of the TFM memory must be provided.

4. COURSE DESCRIPTION AND TEACHING METHODOLOGY

The methodology of the Master's Final Project (TFM) is based on the student's autonomous work guided by a tutor.

It consists of the following activities:

Tutoring: in which you will receive the necessary guidance for the implementation of the TFM, introducing in detail the objectives, content, methodologies to be applied and the formal and specific requirements that will determine the quality of the TFM. During these tutoring sessions, the TFM proposal approved by the Master's Academic Coordination Commission will be clearly explained, as well as the documents and formats that the TFM will contain.

Completion of the work: the TFM will be carried out in a time equivalent to 12 ECTS and during its execution the academic tutor will attend to the students' doubts and will give, if necessary, indications on how to continue with the proposed work.

Delivery, exhibition, defence and evaluation of the TFM: will be carried out according to the regulations on official master's degrees at the University of Jaen and according to specific regulations published by the Academic Coordination Commission of the Master's Degree.

Dedication to the TFM will follow the following rule: 12 TFM ECTS credits will involve 300 hours of student work (equivalent to 8 weeks of full-time work, at the rate of 37.5 hours/week) and will involve at least 6 hours of individualized tutorial guidance (equivalent to 0.75 hours/week for 8 weeks). Tutoring sessions will be scheduled by each tutor, without prejudice to the use of tutoring hours at the student's request.

Students with special educational needs should contact the Student Attention Service (Servicio de Atención y Ayudas al Estudiante) in order to receive the appropriate academic support
