METHODOLOGY:
Theoretical presentations will be made in the classes and
problems related to the exposed topics will be solved
Simulation practices of electric drives and power electronics
will be carried out
Technical visits to industrial facilities will be made
Work will be done in groups of students and will be presented
in class or by video tutorials
Students with special educational needs should contact the Student Attention Service (Servicio de Atención y Ayudas al Estudiante) in order to receive the appropriate academic support
The Temary consists of two parts:
Part I: Power Electronics (Topics 1 to 5)
Part II: Electric Drives (Items 6 to 14)
Part I, is 33% of the Final Note of the subject
Part II, supposes 67% of the Final Note of the subject.
Both parts contain:
Performing Theoretical-Practical Exam, written, which represents
70% of the final grade.
Assistance and completion of laboratory-simulation practices,
which represent 15% of the final grade.
Realization / exhibition of works, directed academic
activities, that suppose 15% of the final qualification.
In the Examination Test with theoretical contents and
problems, the CEL1, CT2 and CT4 competences and the learning
outcomes 6 and 7 are evaluated.
The CEL1, CT2 and CT4 competences and the learning outcomes 6 and 7 are evaluated in the class assignments and delivery of internship reports.
In the attendance to practical classes, in person or virtual, the competences CEL1, CT2 and CT4 and learning outcomes 6 and 7 are evaluated.
