4. COURSE DESCRIPTION AND TEACHING METHODOLOGY

Theoretical Lectures (Competences CB2R and CT3)

Exposition of the subject by formal discourse in Spanish. It is open for international students. Tutorial support, bibliography, and multimedia resources are available in English (3 h per week).

 

Classes in small group (CB2R, CT1, CT2 and CT4)

Practical sessions in laboratories and in computers room (10 h).

 

Group Tutorials (DB2R and CT4)

Discussions and debates about the subject by mean of a forum on the course’s Ilias site.

Students with special educational needs should contact the Student Attention Service (Servicio de Atención y Ayudas al Estudiante) in order to receive the appropriate academic support

5. ASSESSMENT METHODOLOGY

Evaluation tools:

S1: Attendance.

S2: Exam.

S3: Course exercises, student works and presentations.

S4: Practical lectures.

 

Grade.

If S2 is greater than or equal to 5, then

Grade = 0.1·S1 + 0.5·S2 + 0.2·S3 + 0.2·S4

Otherwise:

Grade = S2
