3. CONTENT DESCRIPTION

Analysis of the effects of globalization in the business environment. Study of the different theoretical approaches applied to business internationalization. Reasons that explain the international expansion of the company and the ways of entry into international markets.

INTRODUCTION: THE STRATEGIC MANAGEMENT OF THE COMPANY; GLOBALIZATION AND THE STRATEGIC DECISION OF INTERNATIONALIZATION; APPROACHES OF THE INTERNATIONAL COMPANY; THE FORMS OF ENTRY IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE INTERNATIONAL STRATEGY; THE PROCESS OF IMPLEMENTATION OF THE INTERNATIONAL STRATEGY; CORPORATE COOPERATION: KEY ASPECTS AND THEIR USE IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE INTERNATIONAL STRATEGY.

4. COURSE DESCRIPTION AND TEACHING METHODOLOGY

Throughout the course all theoretical contents will be taught and practical cases related to the contents will be condicted. These practical cases will be in individual and in groups. It is very important the participation of the student throughout the theoretical and practical classes with the purpose of promoting the analysis and discussion of all the theoretical and practical contents that are going to be addressed.

5. ASSESSMENT METHODOLOGY

The theoretical and practical content of the subject will be evaluated in a final test (exam). On the final grade, the theory will have a weight of 60% and the practice of 40%.
