Lesson 1.  INTRODUCTION. EUROPEAN TOURISM POLICY AND ADMINISTRATION

TOURIST STATE

  • History of tourism legislation
  • Organization of the tourist administration of the State
  • Current legal framework of tourism: the distribution of powers
  • The State tourism policy
  • The tourism policy of the European union

Lesson 2. THE ANDALUSIAN TOURIST ADMINISTRATIONS

  • The Tourism Administration in the autonomous community of Andalusia
  • Local Administration: The work of coordination of the regional administration; Municipal and provincial competencies; The municipality tourism and its application in the community autonomous; Acquisition and loss of the condition of tourist municipality; Effects of the Declaration of municipality tourism

Lesson 3. MANAGEMENT AND PROMOTION OF TOURISM RESOURCES,

4. COURSE DESCRIPTION AND TEACHING METHODOLOGY

  Presential 

  • Basic lectures, which will explain the main issues of subjects that make up the program.
  • Discussion and resolution of cases, in which several students will be speakers and the rest will participate , exposing their point of view.
  • Analysis and comment of relevant jurisprudencie on the problematic of different issues.
  • Written tests to be taken for the students about the knowledge acquired.
  •  

Non - Presential 

  • Previous reading of the topics of the subject through any of the reference manuals.
  • Preparation of different activities for subsequent exposure and discussion in class.

5. ASSESSMENT METHODOLOGY

The assessment of knowledge and skills expected shall be as follows:

-Each of the issues will require prior reading of its content by the student, through the manual recommended.

-This individual reading will be supported with theoretical explanations by the teacher using basic lectures in which will be a space for participation and discussion.

-You must go more deeply into the contents of the subject by conducting work and case studies. In this way, each of the issues will involve prior reading the manual, assistance and participation in the lecture and the realization of works and case studies.

In addition, a written knowledge test must be overcome. Attendance and participation in master classes, discussion and resolution of practical cases and the realization of a knowledge test are basis activities required to overcome the course.

Participation in seminars and conferences organized by the Area of administrative law, the preparation and exhibition of research, as well as the participation in the seminar of administrative law and in debate circles are deepening activities.
