Unit 1. Financial statements analysis.

Unit 2. Financial statements I.

Unit 3. Financial statements II.

Unit 4. Financial ratios

Unit 5. Working capital analysis.

Unit 6. Revenues, expenses, margins. Break-even point. 

Unit 7. Financial leverage.

Unit 8. Cash-flow statement.

Unit 9. Analysis of the documents of the anual report.

4. COURSE DESCRIPTION AND TEACHING METHODOLOGY

Theory classes will be exposed by the teacher in an interactive way with the students. Teacher will use powerpoint slides, as well as the blackboard for explaining the content of this subject. 

In practice classes, the student is expected to be participative. They will consist on the solving of several practical problems for each one of the units of the subject. 

Students with special educational needs should contact the Student Attention Service (Servicio de Atención y Ayudas al Estudiante) in order to receive the appropriate academic support

5. ASSESSMENT METHODOLOGY

  1. The calification for those students that do not attend to the final exam will be "No Show". 
  2. In order to pass the course, a minimum mark of 4.5 is required for both theory and practice parts. 
  3. To pass the course with honors, the student will have to present a report with the analysis of the financial information of a real company. This report must be presented before the end of the classes.
