Part 1. Methodology of environmental impact assessment.  

Part 2. Environmental effects of conventional energy sources

Part 3. Environmental effects of renewable energy sources

Part 4. Socio-economic implications of renewable energy sources

4. COURSE DESCRIPTION AND TEACHING METHODOLOGY

Lectures: Exposure of theoretical content and applied examples (Spanish language)

Conferences: Exposure by prestigious professionals (Spanish language)

Practical activities: Case studies analyses

Other activities: Oral presentations by the students (They could be in English language for foreign students)

Students with special educational needs should contact the Student Attention Service (Servicio de Atención y Ayudas al Estudiante) in order to receive the appropriate academic support

5. ASSESSMENT METHODOLOGY

Exam could be answered in English in the case of foreign students. Exam evaluates the competences CE-22, CE-23, CG05, CG08 and CT05. 

Student work will be developed in small groups. The oral presentation of this work could be performed in English in the case of foreign students. Group work will evaluate the competences CB7, CB9, CT03 and CT05.
