Unit 2 . Design of facilities in the olive oil industry

4. COURSE DESCRIPTION AND TEACHING METHODOLOGY

A1-Lecturing/Large group teaching (15 h)

A2-Practical classes (12 h)

A14-Technical visits (3 h) 

Students with special educational needs should contact the Student Attention Service (Servicio de Atención y Ayudas al Estudiante) in order to receive the appropriate academic support

5. ASSESSMENT METHODOLOGY

Class attendance (10% of the global rating)

5% for attending the technical visit. 5% for attending the rest of the course.

Learning outcomes: R2, R3, R37, R38 y R5.

Competencies: all the competencies.

Written exam (60% of the global rating)

There is not partial exam. The exam will consist of both theoretical short answer and problem-solving questions. Two sections have equal weight. The minimum score to pass the exam is 4.5.

Competencies: CE10, CE12, CE13, CE29, CEE1, CEE2 y CG5.

Review exercise workbook (15% of the global rating)

Learning outcomes: R2, R38 y R5.

Group work (15% of the global rating)

7.5%-Quality of the written project report.

7.5%-Oral presentation of the project.
