  • Buffers and hydrolysis of salts
  • Synthesis of aspirine
  • Separatory techniques

4. COURSE DESCRIPTION AND TEACHING METHODOLOGY

Lecture (Theory): Lectures in spanish (in classroom). Bibliography and exercises in English for foreing students. 2-4 Hours per week.

Lecture (Practical sessions): Tutorial sessions in group about contents of the course. 2-3 Hours per week (five weeks).

Seminars: Resolution of exercises relatives to the content of the course. 1-2 Hours per week.

Homework: Study of theoretical contents and preparation of exercises. 6-8 Hours per week.

5. ASSESSMENT METHODOLOGY

EVALUATION:

 

Theory exam: 70%

Monograph in Applied Chemistry: 20%

Experimental: 10%.
