The evaluation of the students' theoretical knowledge and
practical training will be based on three criteria:
* 15% of the total mark will correspond to their active
participation in class (oral contributions, doing exercises,
reading appropriate bibliographical references, etc.).
[Plagiarism will involve automatically failing the course]
* 25% of the total mark will correspond to the submission of
the required assignment(s) before the end of deadlines.
* 60% of the total mark will correspond to the quality of the
final exam taken by the students.
The exam paper will be intended to test the student's
theoretical knowledge and practical understanding of the syllabus.
Consequently, it will consist of the following:
- Questions on the contents of the bibliographical
references: definition with examples of basic concepts as well
as multiple-choice exercises.
- Grammatical test, including exercises of the types done in
class.
- Morphological and syntactic analysis.
The marks obtained from participation and assignments will
only be valid for the current academic year (2019/2020).
Students will be expected to express themselves correctly in
both oral and written English. This will also be taken into
account for the final mark.
