3. CONTENT DESCRIPTION

Part 1. Introduction to environmental technologies.

Part 2. Wastewater treatment technologies.

Part 3. Air pollution. Treatment of gaseous effuents.

Part 4. Treatment of contaminated soil.

Part 5. Introduction to environmental management. Environmental impact assessment.

4. COURSE DESCRIPTION AND TEACHING METHODOLOGY

Lectures and seminars: Exposure of theoretical content and applied examples (Spanish language).

Laboratory practices: Experiments in small groups (Spanish language).

Other activities: Oral presentations by the students (They could be in English language for foreigner students).

Students with special educational needs should contact the Student Attention Service (Servicio de Atención y Ayudas al Estudiante) in order to receive the appropriate academic support

5. ASSESSMENT METHODOLOGY

Exam could be answer in English in the case of foreigner students. Exam evaluates the competences CEL9. 

A student work will be developed individually or in small groups. The oral presentation of this work could be performed in English in the case of foreigner students. The competences CB2R, CEL9 will be evaluated with this work.
