3. CONTENT DESCRIPTION

Chapter 1.Corporate Investment and financing

Chapter 2. Investment Project analysis and decision making under certainty

Chapter 3. Valuation of alternative investment projects (incremental analysis). Tax effect

Chapter 4. Economic feasibility and financial feasibility

Chapter 5. Financing sources of the company: External financing

Chapter 6. Financing sources of the company: Internal financing

Chapter 7. Investment projects analysis and decision making under risk conditions

4. COURSE DESCRIPTION AND TEACHING METHODOLOGY

Theoretical lectures will be focus on concepts description and explanation including some practical examples that will be solved on the blackboard. Media resources will be used as supporting tools. The students will present their group works.

Practical lectures will be focus on the resolution of exercices using Excel program as a tool.

Students with special educational needs should contact the Student Attention Service (Servicio de Atención y Ayudas al Estudiante) in order to receive the appropriate academic support

5. ASSESSMENT METHODOLOGY

Theoretical concepts will be assessed with a type test (true or false questions) (R8).

Practical exam will consist on the resolution of some exercises using Excel program (R8, R10).

Finally, the global assessment wil also include a group work to be presented in class.
