The contents of the subject will revolve around the four following issues:
- Multidimensional thinking and the role of the arts in XX1st century education: a theoretical approach.
- From disciplinary power/knowledge to multi, cross and transdisciplinary perspectives in Art. Learning through the arts: transference and assimilation into the curriculum.
- Arts and cognition. Creativity and multiple intelligences. Theoretical principles.
- The role of the arts in the integrated curriculum. Innovative artistic programmes in education: Learning through the arts, Zero, Mapping the beat, LOVA.
- Integrative educational methodologies: cooperative learning, project-based learning through projects and competency-based learning. Assessment tools: design and creation of rubrics

and artistic practices and debates

Attendance and participation: -Record attendance and participation. -Control of teacher. Concepts of matter: - Analysis and commentary of a reading given by the teacher: structure, conceptual precision and written presentation will be taken into account. Commentary of scientific paper: -Papers, cases or practical projects: originality, precision structure and conceptual work / practical projects will be taken into account.
