3. CONTENT DESCRIPTION

UNIT 1. Key aspects of the historical development of Technology. Methodology of knowledge construction in Technology. Relations between science and technology.

UNIT 2. The role of technology in society and culture relationships. Educational importance of Technology in Secondary Education and Vocational Training.

UNIT 3. Perspectives and current approaches in the teaching of Technology.

UNIT 4. The importance of contexts in education: educational situations relevant to the teaching of Technology.


UNIT 5. Industrial processes of educational interest. Interdisciplinary applications of Technology.

UNIT 6. Analysis of technological devices of daily life. Simulated experiences of technological processes.

4. COURSE DESCRIPTION AND TEACHING METHODOLOGY

5. ASSESSMENT METHODOLOGY

The qualification system will be governed by the provisions of Royal Decree 1125/2003 of September 5, which establishes the European credit system and the qualification system for university degrees of an official nature.

The evaluation will be limited to the verification of the effective development of the competences. Specifically, the qualification of each student will be obtained from the weighting of the global test, the directed activities and the monitoring of the work of the students, among others.

Attendance to class is mandatory at least 80%. Those who justify their lack of assistance will be entitled to an alternative evaluation agreed upon with the faculty (written tests, research work, personal interviews, ...).
