The
ultimate objective of this course is to provide students with the
basic knowledge and skills needed to become an intermediate
manager in a company in the industrial sector.
Overall, students, after having studied this course will
be able to:
- Understand the concept of the enterprise as a system and
analyse the functioning of the enterprise from the subsystems
within it.
- Understand the nature of managerial work.
- Analyze the efficiency of the decisions related to the
operations management.
- Implement the scheduling production techniques.
- Recognize the importance of quality as a key management
variable.
- Evaluate the profitability of an investment.
- Identify preferable funding sources consistent with the
investment to be undertaken.
. Understand how calculte the statistical process control and know how interpret a quality situation
