4. COURSE DESCRIPTION AND TEACHING METHODOLOGY

Lectures and practice sessions.

Theoretical subjects will be explain using slices

In the lab we will use the computer to solve programming tasks. To asses the programming skills the students should solve programming tasks in the lab and also they will have some assignments with a deadline.

Students with special educational needs should contact the Student Attention Service (Servicio de Atención y Ayudas al Estudiante) in order to receive the appropriate academic support

5. ASSESSMENT METHODOLOGY

The student can opt for an ongoing assesment. In this case the final mark is achieved as the sum of these activities::

  • Attending to the lab (10%)
  • Assignments (30%)
  • Programming test (60%)

Those students not passing  the ongoing assesment (they get less than a 5 mark) or willing to get a higher mark are entitled to the extraordinary exam calls. These exams are at the lab.
