Students with special educational needs should contact the Student Attention Service (Servicio de Atención y Ayudas al Estudiante) in order to receive the appropriate academic support

5. ASSESSMENT METHODOLOGY

The contribution to the qualification of attendance and participation will be 5% (five percent),  random controls of attendance will be made (not exceeding in any case 40% of teaching hours scheduled), participation in debates will be assessed , exercises and different activities.

The evaluation of the theoretical concepts of the subject will be done through a written examination with content in theory and problems, to be held in the official call. The matter of this test is considered surpassed when equal to or greater than 5 score of 10 points is reached. It must be overcome both theory and problems. The qualification of the theory part is 75% (seventy five percent) of the final qualification. The theory part will consist of the answer to one or more questions from the program of the subject, it will be assessed both the minimum content (basic bibliography) as additional content (specific bibliography for each subject). The part of problem solving is proposed from two to four problems on the contents of the subject (synchronous machines, asynchronous machines and direct current machines).

For the assessment of knowledge of laboratory practices is mandatory condition performing all scheduled practices. The student will attend practices and present memory of the work done, delivery of activities will be held in the Virtual Teaching Platform. The evaluation of the reports made, the resolution of practical cases, machine control schemes and opinions on technological developments, will contribute 20% (twenty percent) of the qualification. Students who do not attend, do not submit reports or perform various activities in full will not have the percentage indicated qualification.
