Theoretical classes:
The theoretical classes will offer a tour of the course subject, can be taught in the classroom, laboratories or seminars.
There will be theoretical explanations and realization of practical problems, exercises, works and participatory debates.
The slate, slide show, videos, images, and all those means that are useful for the better understanding of the contents studied will be used.
It will be possible to use computer and simulation tools, programs of calculation of facilities, etc., for the realization of practical exercises, projects, etc.
Lab practices:
In these practical classes, students are expected to consolidate the knowledge acquired in the theoretical classes, especially those referring to aspects of equipment use and design / assembly of electrical installations.
Seminars
The seminars will be used to complement the contents of the subject. It is possible to work on a specific theme or content, and the students and teachers can discuss about it, carry out projects and work on it, analyze the conclusions obtained and investigate issues related to the topic to be debated.
It is a question of the students exposing their opinions, research and work and be able to analyze the results with a critical thinking and also discuss different opinions of other colleagues to find the solution most appropriate to the problem.
Tutoring, as an individualized method of learning follow-up and development of the aforementioned capacities. The tutorials will try to solve the doubts raised by the students about the theoretical / practical classes or about the relations of problems that the students must carry out
Students with special educational needs should contact the Student Attention Service (Servicio de Atención y Ayudas al Estudiante) in order to receive the appropriate academic support
THEORETICAL-PRACTICAL EXAM WRITING:
Official Examination of the Subject. It will be done at the end of the theoretical and practical contents of it.
In order to take this exam, it is necessary that the students have passed the Laboratory Practices, in attendance and delivery of reports.
This exam contains 2 parts, a Theoretical, which is valued with 30% of the grade and another Practice or problem solving and exercises, which is valued with 70% of the grade.
This test must be passed with at least a score of 4 points out of 10, so that all other laboratory practice scores, jobs, etc. can be added.
The teacher reserves the option to take a partial exam, depending on the evaluation of the course.
Summary of Assessment and Evaluation according to the Evaluation System (weights):
S1: 10% of the final grade
(This score will be obtained if the students perform the exercises and problems proposed, both in face-to-face classes and in virtual teaching, within the established deadline and with the appropriate format)
S2: 65%
(This score will be the maximum to be obtained in the completion of the written exam, in which the theory and problems will be evaluated, as explained above)
S3: 25%
(This score is divided into two parts)
- S3-A: 15%. It will be the evaluation of the attendance and presentation of memories of the Laboratory Practices
- S3-B: 10%. It corresponds to the evaluation and presentation of the directed academic activity, work, project, etc.
Through the first aspect of the evaluation system (S1) the student's progress in the competences CEL2, CT2, CB2R, CB4R CB4R, CB5R and the learning result 1 will be assessed.
The second aspect of the assessment system (S2) will evaluate
the student's progress in the competences CEL2, CT2, CB2R, CB4R
CB4R, CB5R and the learning result 1.
By means of the third aspect of the evaluation system (S3)
the student's progress in the competences CEL2, CT2, CB2R, CB4R
CB4R, CB5R and the learning result 1 will be assessed.
