4. COURSE DESCRIPTION AND TEACHING METHODOLOGY

Lectures (Theory): exposition of the subject by formal discourse in Spanish is open for international students. Tutorial support, bibliography, and multimedia resources are available in English. (3 h per week)

Lecture (Practice): laboratory sessions with multimedia support in English. (10 h)

Open tutoring: In this sessions it is possible resolve problems and exercises with student participation

 

Students with special educational needs should contact the Student Attention Service (Servicio de Atención y Ayudas al Estudiante) in order to receive the appropriate academic support

5. ASSESSMENT METHODOLOGY

Theory (50% final grade): Continued evaluation with a work (different tasks about all the subject topics), and if some student does not approve the work, he will can do an exam with questions and problems.  It will be necessary to get at least 5 points (over 10) to pass this part. Competencies involved: CB2R, CT2, CT3, CT4. Learning results: 31, 32, 34, COPT1R

Practices /exercises (20% final grade /20% final grade). It is mandatory to attend to practical lectures. Practical sessions are assessed via reports and exercicies. It will be evaluated with the practices memories and other exercises. Competencies involved: CT1, CT2, CT4. Learning results: 32, 33, 35, COPT1R

Attendance and participation (10% finalgrade). Attendance to theorical lectures will be controlled. Participation will be evaluated by means of professor notes.
