4. COURSE DESCRIPTION AND TEACHING METHODOLOGY

The teaching of this subject aims to highlight the importance of the human factor in the economic and social results of organizations, as well as to influence the fundamental keys for adequate planning, incorporation, development and motivation of people in organizations. In addition, the aim is to develop students' capacity for analysis on organizational issues, providing basic training on the fundamental elements of work organization and job evaluation, as well as their influence on pay and benefits and incentives systems.

The subject is posed with a teaching methodology centered on the student and that allows the students to develop or modify the vision or conception of the world that they already adopt. In this way, although some of the classes have a theoretical content, most of them are developed based on the exhibition, discussion and debate of opinions and experiences related to the subject and current issues, always looking for a climate that Facilitate the student's participation. In addition, throughout the course, the students will carry out individual and group work of a voluntary nature and will be valued for the student's final grade.

For all this, we cannot propose a single teaching method since this would be incompatible with the diversity of objectives and variables we just discussed. Thus, for the development of the theoretical part of the subject will use the debate and discussion groups, although most of the time, the teaching of the subject will be taught through the Participatory Magistral Lesson, using the different Audio-visual means available, in order to facilitate the understanding and assimilation of the contents.

With regard to the practical part we will use both the case method and the problem-solving practices.

Students with special educational needs should contact the Student Attention Service (Servicio de Atención y Ayudas al Estudiante) in order to receive the appropriate academic support

5. ASSESSMENT METHODOLOGY

The theoretical evaluation of the subject will be based on an examination that will consist of two categories of questions. The first one consists of questions type test and that will be evaluated with 3 points on 7. The second one will consist of four questions of development, with a value of a point each one. To overcome the theoretical part requires obtaining 3.5 points.
