4. COURSE DESCRIPTION AND TEACHING METHODOLOGY

Default teaching session language will be Spanish. These sessions are structure in theoretical sessions, where learning contents are developed, and practical sessions to solve exercises on the board and also using a statistical software (Statgraphics, SPSS and/or R).

Seminar in English will be organized for practical sessions in computer labs.

Tutorial support sessions, bibliography, additional materials and exams will be available in English. 

Exchange international students electively can join regular course in Spanish whenever they wish.

Students with special educational needs should contact the Student Attention Service (Servicio de Atención y Ayudas al Estudiante) in order to receive the appropriate academic support

5. ASSESSMENT METHODOLOGY

The evaluation procedure is mainly based on:

  • A writing exam with theoretical and practical exercises (80%)
  • An evaluative practice with practical exercises to be solved by using a statisitcal software (20%)
