Chapter 1. Computer Aided Manufacturing CAM

  • Manufacturing integration.
  • Design for Manufacturing: Product Life Cycle and Life Cycle Assessment, Concurrent Engineering.
  • CAD/CAM integration. Code ISO generation.
  • Aided process planning, assembly and inspection.

 

Chapter 2. Processes and Service to Processes Industrialization.

  • Design of: flexible manufacturing systems, transfer systems and automation systems.
  • Improving processes by: Group Technology, Lean Manufacturing and Lean Maintenance.
  • Quality control for manufacturing processes.

 

Chapter 3. Industry 4.0: the smart factory.

  • Introduction to Industry 4.0.
  • Smart factories: Ideas, advantages, examples.

 

Chapter 4. Rapid prototyping by means of additive manufacturing.

  • Introduction to additive manufacturing: Types and applications.
  • Cost estimation.

 

Chapter 5. Manufacturing processes applied to mechatronic.

  • Introduction to numerical models of mechanical manufacturing systems.
  • Manufacturing of integrated circuits and other electronic devices.
