3. CONTENT DESCRIPTION

The theoretical part includes the following contents:

-Micropropagación

-Haploid culture

-Obtaining of somatic embryos

-Obtaining of pathogen free plants

-Protoplast culture

-Cell cultures

-Measure Resistance biotic and abiotic stress

-Production of artificial seeds

-The Role of biotechnology in maintaining genebanks

-Identification and differentiation of different plant varieties through genetic markers

-Use of biotechnology in livestock improvement and products

 

The practical part focuses on the following aspects:

-Obtaining haploid individuals

-Obtaining virus free plants

-Obtaining somatic embryos from callus

-Artificial seeds

-Plant Transformation
