4. COURSE DESCRIPTION AND TEACHING METHODOLOGY

Activities consist of theoretical lectures in which participation and debate will be encouraged.

 

Practical activities will include practical exercises in the classroom with computer. An information retrieval system will be implemented and will also make use of systems already developed and available under free software.

 

Collective tutorials include professional lectures related to the subject as well as common classes of debate about the key concepts of the subject.

Students with special educational needs should contact the Student Attention Service (Servicio de Atención y Ayudas al Estudiante) in order to receive the appropriate academic support

5. ASSESSMENT METHODOLOGY

 The final grade for the course will be the weighted sum of the grades obtained in the previous four blocks
