4. COURSE DESCRIPTION AND TEACHING METHODOLOGY

M9 Collective/individual tutorials: Comments on individual assignments

5. ASSESSMENT METHODOLOGY

Ongoing assessment will be attached great weight in this subject. 25% of the final grade will correspond to active participation in the virtual debate forums within the established deadlines (debates, cases, or exercises); 25% to activity or exercise completion; and 50% to a written assignment which evinces mastery of the main concepts of the subject.

The evaluation criteria will be the following:

Ongoing assessment   (activities in the Subject Forum):

- Degree of participation.

- Active involvement in the debate topics and activities.

- Degree of interaction with other members of the group in the Subject Forum (e.g., reactions to other contributions).

- Originality in the contributions to the Forum.

- Participation in each of the activities within the established deadlines.

Final Assignment :

- Structure and organization.

- Expression: grammatical accuracy and semantic appropriateness and variety.

- Content: adequacy to the topic, pertinence, and application of the key concepts and ideas seen in the subject.

- Critical reflection and personal appraisal.

- Use of an academic register (academic English) and adequate use of bibliographical references and citation conventions.
