3. CONTENT DESCRIPTION

  • Introduction to computer software for statistical analysis. Basic issues
  • Descriptive statistic: central tendency and dispersion
  • The normal distribution of data
  • The Confidence interval concept
  • Probability. Hyphotesis testing
  • Correlations
  • Bivariate analysis: difference of proportions (chi square test) and difference of means ( parametric and non-parametric test)
  • Estimation of sample size, according the statistic test.
  • Analysis of variance ( ANOVA), Testing difference of means with more than 2 groups

4. COURSE DESCRIPTION AND TEACHING METHODOLOGY

Learning methods include:

  • Lectures
  • Seminars and practical activities, using computer classroom
  • Problems resolution and asignments, using e-learning platform
  • Personal learning throught  UJA e-learning platform
