- Sample preparation: sample collection, stabilization, extration, cleanup, and concentration.
- Protein purification by FPLC
- Monitoring of the purification process: purification table, analysis for purity
- Large-scale production of proteins from recombinant DNA
- Chromatografic strategies for purification of recombinant proteins
- Chromatografic procedures for antibody purification

Course description and teaching methodology por PATIE student:
1. Lectures (theory): tutorial session, supply of printed material, proposal of activities and exercises in English (1h per week)
2. Lectures (Practice): tutirial session, supply of printed material (1h per week)

5. ASSESSMENT METHODOLOGY
- Evaluation of attendance, involvement, and academic progress (40%)
- Resolution of proposed exercises, and report and discussion of the laboratory results in English (60%)
