  2. Sample preparation: sample collection, stabilization, extration, cleanup, and concentration.
  3. Protein purification by FPLC
  4. Monitoring of the purification process: purification table, analysis for purity
  5. Large-scale production of proteins from recombinant DNA
  6. Chromatografic strategies for purification of recombinant proteins
  7. Chromatografic procedures for antibody purification

General methodology:

Course description and teaching methodology por PATIE student:

1. Lectures (theory): tutorial session, supply of printed material, proposal of activities and exercises in English (1h per week)

2. Lectures (Practice): tutirial session, supply of printed material (1h per week)

5. ASSESSMENT METHODOLOGY

  • Evaluation of attendance, involvement, and academic progress (40%)
  • Resolution of proposed exercises, and report and discussion of the laboratory results in English (60%)
