4. COURSE DESCRIPTION AND TEACHING METHODOLOGY

Theory classes.
The lectures in large group will be mainly theoretical classes,
where the main methodology will be the presentation by the
professor of theoretical concepts and resolution for each topic
problems in a coordinated manner making problems throughout the
development of the subject

the student conduct four labs, delivering at the end of
every session a report on each of the practices. This report will
follow the script siguieente: Objective; theoretical foundation;
material and methods; Results. Paragraph results is presented
greater weight t error handling is especially valued, the
presentation of tables and graphs, obtaining latest are the
pertinent information, provided they conform to a straight. The
practices are carried out in groups of two and fostering joint
work.

Seminars: specific
problems of the relevant issues are developed by the students, with
or without the help of the teacher trying to encourage their
participation and seeking in all seminars solve all the problems
proposed.

Also in classes seminars held exhibitions of at least two items
proposed by the related practical applications of program content
to take biology teacher. The exhibitions were held in pairs, trying
that all students will perform one along the course.
.

Students with special educational needs should contact the Student Attention Service (Servicio de Atención y Ayudas al Estudiante) in order to receive the appropriate academic support

5. ASSESSMENT METHODOLOGY

The exam, will be carry out in the date determines by the University. The exam consists of a written ponderated test where it is evaluated the theoretical and practical knowledge. In the written test there will be short questions, a development of a question of theory and problems similar to the developed ones in class. With the examination the competitions are evaluated: CE1, CT1, CT3, CT4, CT5, CT6, CT7 and CT9. The maximum punctuation of practices will be 1,5, for which it must be delivered a final report with the items indicated in class. The assistance is compulsory. It must be done a final report of practices with the development of four practices done during the course. To this mark it will be added the note of seminars, which will be obtained after an oral presentation of a topic and by the development of problems . The maximum punctuation of this part will be 0,5. With this part the competitions that will be acquired are: CE1, CG1, CG5, CT1, CT2, CT3, CT5, CT6, CT7, CT8, CT9 and CT10.
