4. COURSE DESCRIPTION AND TEACHING METHODOLOGY

The methodology is participatory and collaborative type, with interventions both lecturers and students and always seeking the acquisition of learning in a thoughtful, innovative and inquiring how information sources and contexts of Social Education.

The lectures combined exposure of content by teachers with reflection and feedback from the students themselves, as well as carrying out activities related to these contents in lectures.

The practical sessions include the development of research projects in Social Education, documentation, review of document databases, conducting research projects, case resolution, data analysis, etc. Performing in some cases in the classroom oy International in computer rooms.

The PATIE-ERASMUS students will need to contact the teacher at the beginning of the semester to configure and adapt its training process.

Students with special educational needs should contact the Student Attention Service (Servicio de Atención y Ayudas al Estudiante) in order to receive the appropriate academic support

5. ASSESSMENT METHODOLOGY

Theoretical (80%):

The theoretical and practical contents of the subject will be evaluated mendiante conducting a test of knowledge (examination in the official calendar date) of the 4 blocks of matter content. The test will consist of one essay question, a question of practical application (problems, situations, etc..) And a set of simple question multiple choice. The exam will be worth 80% of the total value of the subject.

Assessment Practices Seminars and Labour: 20% (5% + 15%)

Attendance (at least 80% of sessions), participation and correct realizacón Practices Seminars will have up to 5% of the total value of the subject. To pass the subject is beautiful go and do the practices.

The performance of work or research project in Social Education with an empirical and respecting the rules of conduct of these reports and advocacy focus in class, will have a value of up to 15% of the matter.
