3. CONTENT DESCRIPTION

The subject is attached to PATIE program,  which lets you interact with the teacher in  this language, feel exams in English exams and write papers in this language.

4. COURSE DESCRIPTION AND TEACHING METHODOLOGY

In the subject different methodological choices oriented skills training set are combined.

Thus we combine participatory large group lectures (40 hours) for the development of theoretical content, this methodology involving students through discussions and exhibits on the contents combined.

In small groups (20 hours) developed in the seminar assigned to the subject other methodological choices applied for combined training, reflection etc.. using the methodology of group work: workshops, group techniques, demonstrations, individual and group presentations, case studies, etc.. The practical nature of skills makes it advisable to develop group work, so the seminar is a space that allows the public exhibition of projects and work under academic supervision and also a very adequate space for training and evaluating the progress of students. The working group in the seminar with about 15 students is privileged to create an environment of collaborative learning as a framework for promotion and training in health education space.

Students with special educational needs should contact the Student Attention Service (Servicio de Atención y Ayudas al Estudiante) in order to receive the appropriate academic support

5. ASSESSMENT METHODOLOGY

The subject will be scored and assessed through a written test where you can combine multiple choice questions, short answer questions and development. The value of this test can be up to 60% of the final grade.

Students are organized into working groups (3 participants), which will develop educational programming for health education aimed at a specific problem or group according to the methodology established for it. This paper has a value from 20% of the final grade, will be presented by electronic media. Students also tested on the different proposals workshop group intervention at which the implementation and acquisition of skills students will be evaluated, this simulation of the educational intervention has up to 10% of the final grade of the student.

Attendance at practical classes is compulsory.

Each assessment criteria must be scored by at least 50% of the maximum value in order to calculate the final average score, which is obtained by the sum of the previously mentioned criteria.

10% of the final grade the student may obtain from the collaborations and original contributions that will be proposed by the teacher or a student or student initiative.

The evaluation criteria of the work will be published and communicated to the teacher workgroups annotations improvement work done in each subject.
