4. COURSE DESCRIPTION AND TEACHING METHODOLOGY

A1 activity compromises theorical units exposition and students will solve task proposed by the professor.

A2 actitivy convers the subject pratical assignments that will be periodically verified.

A3 activity includes homework resolution for subjects considered as complex by the students.

Students with special educational needs should contact the Student Attention Service (Servicio de Atención y Ayudas al Estudiante) in order to receive the appropriate academic support

5. ASSESSMENT METHODOLOGY

At the end of the course, each student will be able to choose between a 'global evaluation' and a 'single examination'.

Activities S1, S2, S3 and S4, as specified in section 'Sistema de evalución' will be considered for the 'global evaluation' choice. A final exam on the theorical aspects of the discipline -S2 and S3- will be accomplished to evaluate skills named as C1, C12, C14, C15, CB4, CG2, CG3, CG6 and CG9. This final exam provides half of the total qualification for mentioned aspects. In order to gain a pass, a qualification equal or greater than 4 in 10 must be obtained in the final exam and for S4 activity. Furthermore, an evaluation equal or greater than 5 in 10 must be globally acquired.

The qualification of a positively evaluated part will be preserved during the academic course.

Any student could choose the 'single examination' option, in this case, there is no option to consider the 'global evaluation' alternative anymore.

For the 'single examination' option a final exam, that will cover all the disciplines especified for the subject, must be accomplished. The following ratios are established for the examination contents: 7 in 10 for S2 and S3 activities, and 3 in 10 for S4 activity. An evaluation equal or greater than 5 in 10 must be globally acquired, taking into account the mentioned conditions.

A successful evaluation for S2 and S3 activities implies an accomplishment for 1, 2, 6, 7, 8, 9, 13, 18, 19, 20, 24 and 25 'Resultados de aprendizaje', whereas passing S1 and S4 activities leads to completation for 3, 5, 10, 11, 12, 21, 22, and 23 'Resultados de aprendizaje'.
