3. CONTENT DESCRIPTION

• Descriptive Statistics
• Probability.
• Random variables
• Statistical inference: point estimation, confidence intervals and hypothesis tests.
• Random vectors. Random processes.

4. COURSE DESCRIPTION AND TEACHING METHODOLOGY

Lectures are developed in seminars each week or two weeks, along a morning. Contents are described and several exercices proposed in order to assess the knowledge.

Students with special educational needs should contact the Student Attention Service (Servicio de Atención y Ayudas al Estudiante) in order to receive the appropriate academic support

5. ASSESSMENT METHODOLOGY

Students must complete a set of exercices about the contents, which totally determines the final mark. Optionally, the lecturer could propose an exam if students fail in some of the exercises or want to improve their final mark.
