4. COURSE DESCRIPTION AND TEACHING METHODOLOGY

Firstly, theoretical lessons will be taught. Later, the applicability of the theory will be illustrated by means of practical examples. Real problems will be proposed to be solved with advanced software. A visit to a factory will be organized if possible.

Students with special educational needs should contact the Student Attention Service (Servicio de Atención y Ayudas al Estudiante) in order to receive the appropriate academic support

5. ASSESSMENT METHODOLOGY

You need to obtain at least 5 over 10 in the exam to pass the course. Your marks will be complemented with the evaluation of: solutions obtained to real problems in the computer lab; an individual homework. Finally, continuous attendance will amount to 5% of your final marks.
