4. COURSE DESCRIPTION AND TEACHING METHODOLOGY

The learning of the contents of the subject will be conducted by lectures and will be consolidated by practices in the laboratory and simulations of electronic circuits.

The contents will be also consolidated by means of the tutorials with the aim to solve students' questions

Students with special educational needs should contact the Student Attention Service (Servicio de Atención y Ayudas al Estudiante) in order to receive the appropriate academic support

5. ASSESSMENT METHODOLOGY

In the section: “Attendance and Participation‚ the participation of the student in the classes, like so the attendance to the tutorials, will be taken into account. The aim is to assess the diary work developed by the student in order to acquire the necessary skills.

In the section: “Concepts of the subject the theoretical contents of the subject and their use in solving problems related with it, will be assessed by an official exam. The date of the exam will be published at the website of the University.

With the activity: “'Conducting academic works, cases of study and exercises the progress in the student´s learning will be assessed.

With the activity: "Laboratory practices" the ability of the student for designing and developing electronic circuits, will be assessed by an exam in the laboratory.

To be able to do the weighted average of the different parts of the evaluation system is necessary: pass the theoretical exam (S2) and pass the practical exam in the laboratory (S4)
