3. CONTENT DESCRIPTION

Topic 1. Introduction to functions of several variables

Topic 2. Differential geometry.

Topic 3. Integration of multivariable functions.

Topic 4. Line and surface integral.

Topic 5. Partial differential equations.

 

4. COURSE DESCRIPTION AND TEACHING METHODOLOGY

45 hours of regular classes in classroom,

15 hours of  classes in computer classroom under the supervision of professor.

Students with special educational needs should contact the Student Attention Service (Servicio de Atención y Ayudas al Estudiante) in order to receive the appropriate academic support

5. ASSESSMENT METHODOLOGY

S1) Observation and Professor notes (10%)

Professor wil weight student participation in the resolution of the various activities that arise as well as attendance at tutorials.

The maximum score in this section is 1 point.

S2) theoretical / practical exam (80%)

It will be written character and will cover topics 1-4.

The exam will consist of exercises and / or developmental problems assigned to each section a partial score to complete a maximum of 8 points. To pass the course is necessary to obtain a score equal to or greater than 4 points.

S3) Delivery of work (10%)

Students must perform practical assignments.

The maximum score in this section is 1 point.
