3. CONTENT DESCRIPTION

Content description:
The theory module of this course is divided into four blocks:
1.- Introduction and basics of spatial information systems
2.- Principles of spatial information systems
3.- Main techniques used in spatial information systems
4.- Spatial analisys
5.- Applications

 

The practice module will consist of guided tutorials and the development of a miniproject under the supervision of the lecturers. This miniproject will be an application of spatial information systems.

4. COURSE DESCRIPTION AND TEACHING METHODOLOGY

The course is developed through three sets of activities:

- Lectures where concepts are developed subject. Periodically questions and exercises that facilitate compression of the theory are performed.

- Practical classes in which they intend to practice personally made. You must deliver the material requested.

- Practical classes in which a full practice is performed. The material developed will be delivered; also it must be presented and defended publicly
