3. CONTENT DESCRIPTION

Content description:
The theory module of this course is divided into four blocks:
1.- Introduction and basics of information systems
2.- Data analysis and management. CAD and databases
3.- Spatial information systems
4.- Application of spatial information systems to the Industry – Applications
The practice module will consist of the development of a miniproject under the supervision of the lecturers. This miniproject will be an application of spatial information systems to the industrial organization field.

4. COURSE DESCRIPTION AND TEACHING METHODOLOGY

The course is developed through the realization a mini-project during the course.

Initially, the fundamental theoretical knowledge are taught and from them, the students develop their mini-project.

The miniproyecot must be presented and defended in public.

Students with special educational needs should contact the Student Attention Service (Servicio de Atención y Ayudas al Estudiante) in order to receive the appropriate academic support

Participation, work and class exercises: 25%

Project and its defense: 75%
