1.- EVALUATION AND SELECTION OF STRATEGIES 2.- IMPLEMENTATION AND TYPES OF INTERNATIONALIZATION STRATEGIES 3.- STRATEGIC DECISION OF INTERNATIONALIZATION 4.- ENTRY WAYS IN THE INTERNATIONALIZATION PROCESS 5.- PROCESS OF IMPLEMENTATION OF THE INTERNATIONAL STRATEGY 6.- GLOBAL MANAGEMENT AND CROSS-CULTURAL CULTURE 7.- TECHNOLOGY IN GLOBAL MANAGEMENT: TECHNOLOGY MANAGEMENT IN CROSS-CULTURAL ENVIRONMENTS
- Each lesson will be started with an opening question/topic related with the lesson content. This question will be the start for a new thread in the virtual forum.
- The lesson will be presented and discussed using the materials described in this syllabus.
- Each lesson will be closed with a case-study analysis.
- In November and December the students will present and discuss an essay/project during at least 10 minutes. The project can be carried out in groups of up to three people.
- Additional activities such as supplementary case-study analysis and, presentations and film discussions will be considered.
- The students will present their projects and participate in the course forum throughout the semester.
Students with special educational needs should contact the Student Attention Service (Servicio de Atención y Ayudas al Estudiante) in order to receive the appropriate academic support
Class attendance and class participation during contact hours and through the virtual campus will be taken into account. The students will write an present a paper about one of the course topics. There will be a final written exam. Class attendance and participation will make up to 40% of the final mark. The presentation will be worth up to 20% of the mark and the final exam will be the remaining 40%.
