4. COURSE DESCRIPTION AND TEACHING METHODOLOGY

During the course the participants will study the material designed by the teachers and will ask the possible questions they may have during the time slots pre-established for such a purpose.

The students will also actively participate in the debates in the forums led by the teachers to contribute their comments on the exercises or topics suggested.

The students will also work on the writing of an essay-like commentary on one of the topics suggested by the teachers

Students with special educational needs should contact the Student Attention Service (Servicio de Atención y Ayudas al Estudiante) in order to receive the appropriate academic support

5. ASSESSMENT METHODOLOGY

This course will be evaluated in the following way:

1) One essay on one of the topics suggested by the teachers (60% of the final mark)

2) Some practical exercises during the course (20% of the final mark)

3) The appropriate use of ICTs (10% of the final mark)

4) The student's active participation in forums (10% of the final mark)
