3. CONTENT DESCRIPTION

MASTER THESIS

Planing, design and development of a research project on a health-related topic (linked with some of the research topics proposed each year)

There are 3 modalities for the Master's Thesis:

  • Original research. Planing, development and reporting a research.
  • Research reviews. Planing, development and reporting a research review.
  • Research proposal. Writing of a research proposal, that could be developed later.

 

 

4. COURSE DESCRIPTION AND TEACHING METHODOLOGY

Individual or group meetings with Master thesis supervisor for work planning and resolution of doubts.
Student autonomous work.

The Master Thesis is an annual course. During the first semester, students will develop a total of 2 ECTS for the choice of the research topic; initial literature review, supervisor election and planningDuring the second semester  will conduct the research project under the direction of the supervisor  assigned; (10 ECTS).

Students with special educational needs should contact the Student Attention Service (Servicio de Atención y Ayudas al Estudiante) in order to receive the appropriate academic support

5. ASSESSMENT METHODOLOGY

Supervisor evaluation.

Committe evaluation.

Master Thesis evaluation: will be  done by a committee  formed in accordance with the regulations of Postgraduate Studies of the University of Jaen. The committee  will evaluate the written report, as well as exposure of the thesis  performed (viva).
