3. CONTENT DESCRIPTION

UNIT 1. Technologies for the analysis of human movement in sport and health.

    Current technological resources for the assessment of health status and physical function.

* Imaging techniques: Promotion of health and physical activity.

* Sports performance: Doping and detection.

* Sudden death and sport.

    Advanced technologies in the analysis of human movement.

* Global assessment of health related quality of life ((HRQOL). The role of technologies for the analysis of human movement in global assessment of HRQOL.

* Quantification of human movement.

* Methodological and technological considerations about photogrammetry (motion capture, motion analysis, video analysis).

* Non photogrammetric techniques.

 

UNIT 2. Techniques for the public presentation of research results.

* Advanced treatment of software focused on the preparation of the presentation and public defense of research studies and MA dissertations.

* Digital techniques in the poster presentations at congress.

* Educational research according to the management of both qualitative and quantitative basic techniques.

4. COURSE DESCRIPTION AND TEACHING METHODOLOGY

Acquisition of strategies for developing and assessing projects and educational programs based on the use of new technologies.

Design, development and assessment of technology-based educational materials.

Development of audiovisual, technical and literary guides.

Educational research according to the knowledge of both qualitative and quantitative  basic research techniques

5. ASSESSMENT METHODOLOGY

The grading system will be in accordance with RD 1125/2003 of September the 5th, in which the European and credit system the qualifications system of university titles of official character are established.
