8. PESTICIDE RESIDUE PROBLEMS IN OLIVE OILS
Introduction. Pollution mechanisms by bad industrial practices. Persistence. Degradation pathways.
An expository and learning methodology, that includes the implementation of three types of activities, will be used:
1) lectures of theory and problems
2) laboratory practice sessions
3) Both collective and individual tutorial work, which include supervision of studients evolution, advice and resolution of doubts and finally oral presentation by students of their works.
Students with special educational needs should contact the Student Attention Service (Servicio de Atención y Ayudas al Estudiante) in order to receive the appropriate academic support
In order to assess the aspects considered, it is necessary to monitor student attendance at lectures, practices and participation in class. Similarly, a control tasks will be established to take control of the effective implementation of student work hours.
The following evaluation criteria are established:
- Written tests of theoretical knowledge
- Practical application of theoretical knowledge
- Attendance and participation
The calification at the end of the class period will be the resulting value from the application of these considerations.
