Academic Practice Sessions

Various laboratory practice sessions, with practical field work that favor the consolidation of theoretical knowledge will be developed.

Seminars
Given the wide diversity in the student body it is expected and markedly scientific nature of the subject, some of these sessions will be devoted largely to lay the essential botanical and agronomic basis for the successful development of the subject, which may involve particular difficulty students.

These sessions will also delve into some aspects of the subject, as is to expand knowledge autecology species.

4. COURSE DESCRIPTION AND TEACHING METHODOLOGY

Academic Practice sessions: several practical lab sessions are developed with practical field work that favor the consolidation of theoretical knowledge. It will seek to educate students about the importance of applying good laboratory practices and in particular to gather all the work and experiments conducted in the laboratory on a personal laboratory notebook. This
it will greatly enhance their performance and achievement.

During the development of practices, it will attempt to resolve the particular difficulties of students and insist on concepts and ideas relating to the practice in question, which provokes reflection on the student. The indications do students have guidance only, avoiding the practice to be an automaton carrying worthless. The attitude and behavior of the student will be assessed both in the laboratory and t he results of each practice.

Seminars: Given the heterogeneity expected in students and markedly scientific nature of the subject, some of these sessions will be devoted largely to lay the essential botanical and agronomic basis for the successful development of the subject, which may involve special difficulty for students. These sessions will also delve into some aspects of the subject, as is to deepen autecology l as species. In these sessions will be treated in a special way to get active and positive participation of students by establishing a debate and raising small problems to solve inside or outside the classroom.

Specialized Tutorials: In these sessions all the questions that students raise them those exercises posed and planned as academically supervised activities without the presence of the teacher will be resolved.

Students with special educational needs should contact the Student Attention Service (Servicio de Atención y Ayudas al Estudiante) in order to receive the appropriate academic support

5. ASSESSMENT METHODOLOGY

The test date theoretical and practical assessment will be dated by the General Coordinator of the Master and published on the relevant website.

The theoretical and practical examination will be oral. The practical examination of the blocks I and II may be visu on preparations and visionadas during the laboratory sessions and field trips.

The note of work and attendance / participation will be added to the final grade as long as the sum of the scores of theoretical and practical exam exceeds okay.

For participation grade teacher annotations in the various sessions of theory and practice will be considered. Students who attend all practice sessions and actively participate in them, will get 2.5% of the aggregate grading. The remaining 2.5% corresponding to the note of assistance will be based on a random check carried out by the teacher.

The rating system will be governed by the provisions of RD 1125/2003 of 5 September by the European credit system and the grading system in the university degrees of official status is established.
