2. Sample preparation: sample collection, stabilization, extraction, cleanup, and concentration.
3. Protein purification by FPLC
4. Monitoring of the purification process: purification table, analysis for purity.
5. Large-scale production of proteins from recombinant DNA
6. Chromatografic strategies for purification of recombinant proteins
7. Chromatografic procedures for antibodies purification.
General methodology:
1) Lectures (5 h)
2) Laboratory sessions (28 h)
3) Tutorial group (2 h)
4) Visits to companies (5 h)
Course description and teaching methodology for PATIE student::
1) Lecture (Theory): Tutorial session, supply of press material, proposal of activities and exercises in English (1 h per week)
2) Lecture (Practice): Tutorial session, supply of press material (1 h per week)
