3.1. The complexity of the Asian frame.

3.2. Main areas: India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Pakistan.

4. Australiasian Literature written in English.

4.1. General context and historical conditions.

4.2. Main areas: Australia, New Zealand and South Pacific Islands.

5. Canadian and Caribbean Literatures written in English.

5.1. Canadian Writing:

6. Chicano and Native-American Literatures:

4. COURSE DESCRIPTION AND TEACHING METHODOLOGY

Sessions will combine theoretical and practical issues to develop the contents explained in the syllabus. There will be as much theoretical as practical texts to analyse them following the Postcolonial frame of analysis. 

Students with special educational needs should contact the Student Attention Service (Servicio de Atención y Ayudas al Estudiante) in order to receive the appropriate academic support

5. ASSESSMENT METHODOLOGY

Structure, academic excellency and originality will be evaluated in essays, exams and theoretical questions. It will be necessary to have a good command of the English Language in terms of oral and written fluency.
