3. CONTENT DESCRIPTION
- Descriptive statistics.
- Probability. Conditional probability.
- Random variable.
- Statistical inference. Point estimation. Hypothesis tests.
- Linear regression.
4. COURSE DESCRIPTION AND TEACHING METHODOLOGY
Lectures are developed in seminars each week or two weeks, along a morning. Contents are described and several exercices proposed in order to asses the knowledge.
Students with special educational needs should contact the Student Attention Service (Servicio de Atención y Ayudas al Estudiante) in order to receive the appropriate academic support
5. ASSESSMENT METHODOLOGY
Students must complete a set of exercices about the contents which determines the final mark. Only if it is necessary, the lecturer will control the result of the exercices through exams.
