1. Introduction to classical aspects of the engineering projects.

- Functions developed in the technical manufacturing office

2. Project management.

    - Project scope management.

    - Project time management.

    - Project cost management.

    - Project human resource management.

    - Project communications management.

    - Project risk management. 

3.  General criteria for project elaboration.

    - Norm UNE 157001.

4. Design and accomplishment of a real project of telematics engineering.

4. COURSE DESCRIPTION AND TEACHING METHODOLOGY

Lectures with exercises and lab work. Teaching support, materials and exams in English.

Exchange international students can electively join regular courses in Spanish whenever they wish.

Students with special educational needs should contact the Student Attention Service (Servicio de Atención y Ayudas al Estudiante) in order to receive the appropriate academic support

5. ASSESSMENT METHODOLOGY

Written examination. (50%)

The students will design a real project about one of the course topics and they will write a paper about their projects. (25%)

Oral presentation of the project which the student has designed.(25%)

The project-work and the oral presentation will be done in Group of two Students.
