Introduction to the Digital Communications. The sampling theorem. Quantization: quantizing noise, uniforme quaintizing, adaptive quantizing, vector quantizing. Source coding: lossless coding. Channel coding: block codes (generator matrix, parity-check matrix, syndrome testing, error correction), convolutional codes: connection representation, impulse response, state diagram, tree diagram, trellis diagram, the Viterbi algorithm. Multiplexing: FDM, TDM, CDMA. Spread Spectrum Techniques: direct-sequence spread-spectrum systems, frequency hopping systems, sincronization)
